sunset (from her black room)

This series of sunset prints is dedicated to my grandma who passed away on May 19th, 2014. As an immigrant to the U.S. in her 70s, she couldn't adapt the new language and culture. She spent all her days staying home alone. A big window in her apartment provided a grand view of beautiful California sunset everyday, yet didn't ease her depression. 19 sunset prints are representing a beautiful outside world and the 20th print in the book portrays my grandmother in her black room.
